In the entertainment industry's rush to replicate profits by uprooting and transplanting properties from one region to another, the heart and soul of a work are often sacrificed. At worst, so much is lost that the players on the other side don't "get" the work and the project is never set up. At best, the other half of the world gets a version that has been treated with so little care that the original author is remorseful even when the project makes money.
Kappa Entertainment's aim is to ensure that the above does not happen. We have made it our mission to strive always to shepherd material from one side of the language divide to the other in a way that preserves, revives and enhances all that was good about a story to begin with. We believe that the sharing of our dreams can be a profound way for cultures to understand and appreciate one another as our world grows smaller and that those dreams should be maintained and given their clearest best voice.
